Now I live on the edge of Europe, the most Westerly point to be exact. Most people think Portugal is part of Spain but you'd be surprised to know it's not. But I live where the ocean meets the mountains and where nature's beauty is my backyard. It was only 8km but I thought I'd get my butt in gear and start running again. Fortunately, I ran the thing in 40 mins. Now my next hurdle is the half marathon on March 18th. With a dad who's an ex-marathoner, I have a nice little training schedule laid out for me. Considering my battle with vertigo, I have come a long way these past few years. I'm on some funky meds to make my head not spin while I'm running, so hopefully they will help me complete the half marathon. I would suggest to anyone who doesn't exercise to start jogging...who's with me?
